Empower Academy is PVAC's workforce-development initiative — delivered in partnership with Empower School of Health — building the talent behind Nigeria's local health-product manufacturing.
The Empower Academy is PVAC's dedicated workforce-development initiative, delivered in partnership with Empower School of Health, to build the technical, scientific and managerial talent that Nigeria's health-product manufacturing sector needs to grow.
The Academy's first cohorts are supported by a two-year initial scholarship, removing cost as a barrier for participants while the programme establishes itself — with training focused on pharmaceutical and biologics manufacturing, quality systems and the operational skills the value chain depends on.
Who can benefit: graduates and early-career scientists and engineers, healthcare and pharmaceutical professionals, and founders building in local manufacturing, diagnostics and digital health.
Looking ahead: PVAC intends to scale the Academy's reach and curriculum over time — broadening access across Nigeria and deepening the links between training, research and industry.
