What the Order actually does.
Zero Tariffs & Excise Duties
Exemption from all tariffs and excise duties for specified pharmaceutical goods and items listed in the Schedule.
Special Waivers
Zero tariffs, excise duties and VAT on Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients, excipients and raw materials for essential medicines and medical-product manufacturing.
Market Shaping
Framework contracts and volume guarantees to support local manufacturing of healthcare products at scale.
Regulatory Harmonization
A Harmonised Implementation Framework developed within 30 days to guide relevant agencies in operationalizing the Order.
